Pretty amazing stuff huh?! It’s really cool to grown your own… whatever it is, and lemme tell ya: wheatgrass is a great place to start; really very simple. Thusfar I’ve harvested twice. Each batch took 12 days (harvest time is 10-14 days) and gave me 230 grams of grass, this equals ~6 shots (note: if you let it grow for 14 days you might get a shot or two extra?). For me, this is enough for 3 days. Seeing as how I’ve only got 3 trays so far, I’ll have a 4 day gap in between each cycle. Unfortunately I don’t have sufficient funds right now to add more layers 
. However, if you choose to drink 1 shot a day, 3 layers would be more than sufficient. Read here why wheatgrass is so super awesome, and how to get started!

Ooooh.. that looks lovely! I would love to grow my own wheatgrass, though I’m pretty sure my housemates would cry if they saw the big layered growing trays!! I think all my vegies, spiral juicer, mountains of fruit, food processor, blender, etc is enough for them!

Heb je tips voor een detox at home?
Ik wil volgende week ongeveer een weekje detoxen, een soort vasten op fruit en groenten en sapjes hiervan. Heb je algemene tips of een soort programmaatje wat jij wel eens hebt gedaan? Bijv 2 dagen afbouwen, 3 dagen detoxen, 2 dagen opbouwen.

How much time does it take to clean-up everything after a harvest? and how smelly does it get? How many times do you water the trays? is it messy? Just curious since I am looking for an alternative for the freshlive sprouter that I returned last Friday.
oh clean-up after harvest is mere minutes… 3 maybe? it’s really easy! and it doesn’t get smelly at all! there’s no soil, just grass :p. I water many times a day when I am home a lot, but it;s only necessary to do so 1-3 times a day (with a sprayer).
Looks good! I want to grow my own as well and I am going to invest in a slow juicer to do fruits, veggies, and wheatgrass. Where did you get your kit from again? I forgot which post you had that in. Thanks!!
